We all know how stressful the festive season can be...

And this year we’ve got the added complication of Covid-19!

The holidays are trigger-rich for many of us. There's an abundance of foods you may not trust yourself around, we can get over-tired from too much busyness and there are often relationship dynamics that are challenging. With Covid and all the restrictions, it’s going to be different. For some this may bring reprieve. For others, more complexity and stress.

This 6-week course will help you navigate all of that, so you come out the other side feeling pretty chilled and peaceful about all that happened during the build-up to the holiday season and New Year and the week or so after.

This is how it will roll...

You will receive the first lesson on Saturday 28th November.

Your weekly lesson

Each Saturday you will receive an email with the lesson for the week.

Each lesson will include an audio and PDF version of the topic.

The lessons will contain exercises - but I promise it won't be a big time commitment. Do what you can! This is a means to an end, not an end in itself :)

6 Week Course Outline

Lesson 1: Setting the Scene and Self-Care

How do you want to look back on this period? What are your intentions for yourself? We'll talk about front-loading self-care - the what and the how.

Lesson 2: Preparation

What sorts of preparation will serve you: physically, emotionally and spiritually?

Lesson 3: Drop the Food Rules!

Food rules will sap the fun right out of life and trigger binge eating and emotional overeating. We'll honour your fear and you'll take little steps :)

Lesson 4: Eat!

We'll look at four aspects of eating.

Lesson 5: The Days After

Here we reflect on your experience over the holiday period. We celebrate what went well and learn from what didn't.

Lesson 6: A Different Kind of New Year

As a special gift, this extra lesson is all about approaching the New Year in a way that is supportive and actually works for YOU - instead of the same-old-same-old goals and plans to diet!

Who am I and why should you trust me?

If you don’t know anything about me yet, my name is Vania Phitidis, creator of Peaceful Eating. I’ve been coaching and mentoring people to become more of their authentic selves for over 25 years. More specifically, I’ve been helping people create food freedom and body liberation since 2012.

I have fully recovered from bulimia, binge eating disorder and decades of chronic dieting.

I have a B.A. in Psychology and an Msc. in Education for Sustainability with a focus on behaviour change. I'm a registered Intuitive Eating Counsellor, certified MB-EAT (Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training) teacher and a qualified Self Esteem mentor with the More to Life Programme. I'm a member of ASDAH (Association for Size Diversity And Health), a professional member of The Center for Mindful Eating (TCME) and have a Health At Every Size (HAES), weight inclusive and weight-neutral approach to my work.
